When you use a dock, in most cases the first digital-to-analogue conversion is done by the limited capabilities of the iPod or iPhone.
With a direct digital connection, our receiver looks right into the iPod or iPhone and decodes the audio (including DRM content) using a high quality 192 kHz / 24-bit digital-audio converter.
Our receivers have been tested with Apple products from the 5th Generation (September 2005) onwards. This includes iPod nano, iPhone and
iPhone 3GS.
Supported functions are battery charging, playlist browsing, playback and album art.
